Chris brings over three decades of experience to Minnesota public education to her candidacy for school board. Originally from Los Angeles, she has proudly called Minnesota home for the past 31 years. Chris has served students and families in a wide rage of roles - including serving as a teacher and principal at both the elementary and secondary levels, a district level administrator and a professional development strategist. Chris served as the regional Director for COMPASS (Collaborative Minnesota Partnerships to Advance Student Success) for the Twin Cities Metro region serving 53 school districts and 110 charter schools, giving her
a deep, well-rounded understanding of the education system in Minnesota. Chris now serves as an elementary principal in the Roseville Public School District.
Her top priorities include serving Every Child, Every Day, providing Safe Schools for All, and Fiscal Accountability and Transparency.
Chris and her husband, Osi, have four grown children and three granddaughters. In her free time she enjoys traveling, boating, kickboxing and pilates.
